Nathaniel Tak is currently a medical student at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. He has a strong interest in ophthalmology and artificial intelligence. He has conducted AI research across multiple domains, including medical imaging, diagnostics, and clinical decision support. His work places a strong emphasis on ophthalmology, where he explores the integration of advanced AI tools to enhance early detection and treatment of eye different diseases.
Justin Lien is currently an M3 at Western University. Justin has a strong passion in research, most notably an ecobiochemical analysis of invasive species presiding by his undergraduate institution in Rancho Cordova. He has since been involved in additional research through his commitment to the field of orthopedics and has made numerous significant contributions to the orthopedics community. He currently holds a leadership role in the Orthopedic Sig at his institution. He has been granted a leadership role in S.L.R.S due to his accomplishments and dedication to research and medicine.
Nick Iskandar is currently an M3 at the Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine. As a result of his commitment to the field of medicine and research, he has been granted a leadership role within S.L.R.S. Throughout his life he has always been passionate about working with and providing treatment to chronic pain patients. He is currently conducting cardiovascular research and has recently published his ground breaking findings.
Allen Dang is currently an M4 at California Northstate University. He has a deep appreciation for anesthesia and has published projects within the field. He is heavily involved with student organizations and is committed to improving the holistic education and welfare of other medical students. He currently holds two leadership roles within the student government and the anesthesia society at his institution.
Himanshu Wagh is currently an M4 at California Northstate Univeristy. Over the past few years, Himanshu has developed a passion for psychiatry and has presented his research at multiple conferences. Additionally, he is heavily committed to the recreational and academic betterment of his fellow classmates. He is a freelance biology and chemistry tutor, and is the president of the Fencing Club at his medical school. As such, he has been granted a leadership role in S.L.R.S.
Sumer Sandhu is currently an M1 at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center medical school. S.L.R.S has recognized his strong passion for the field of medicine and dedication to research by granting him a leadership position within the organization. He has shown demonstrated interest for the fields of neurology and pediatrics. He currently holds several leadership roles within the student government and student organizations at his institution.
